Hello, I’m Christine and welcome to my writing portfolio! I’m a passionate advocate for self-awareness, holistic wellbeing, creative individuality, and a visionary mindset.
I believe that we all have the power to create the lives we love and a better future for the world.
Before we do that, we must first begin with ourselves.
I know how brutal life can be. With so much competing for our attention and so much to do and so many constraints binding us each day, there’s barely enough time to drop everything, take a deep breath, and just think about where we’re heading - to see if we’re truly at peace with ourselves or if we’re aiming for the wrong stars that leave us buried in unforgivable dust.
No wonder we’re the most anxious and depressed generation.
No wonder we’re caught up in the grind with barely anything to show for it.
And even when we suffer and sacrifice our futures for the sake of getting by, for the sake of pleasing those that are never satisfied, we’re still blamed for “not doing enough” and “not being enough.”
Sometimes, we just want to leap into the darkness and never return.
I know how that feels.
But there’s a movement going on.
It all started with words.
You see, words hold more power than we give them credit for. They’re not just “all talk” because words inspire us to action and compel us to rise against the forces that keep us in perpetual sleep, one that feels no different from death. Words call for us to evaluate ourselves, shift our priorities, and ruthlessly cut out the toxicity that keeps us bound in helplessness, self-loathing, fear, and despair.
You have the power to create a life you love, a sustainable life of excellence and inner peace, not the one we were wired to seek - the half-hearted life of going through the motions and chasing after temporary happiness.
I have hundreds of writers to thank for opening my mind to this possibility and it is truly an honor to read their works. Because they have shared their words, I am compelled to step out and share mine.
I may be a small voice, a quiet one, one that may be easily mistaken for silence.
And you might be thinking the same.
But that doesn’t matter.
I believe that we all have something to share with the world, regardless of who we are, what we’ve done, and where we came from (and I know you’re so fed up with “the big guys” hogging up the spotlight and drowning out your voice, the one that needs to be heard).
And now, the time is ours.
To write. To speak. To share. To connect. To empower. To take back what is ours.
We can’t do everything, but we can do what matters most.
Thank you for being here on this journey with me.
